Meghan Markle made a chic sartorial tour de force around New York City on Monday, stepping out in three different must-see ensembles. Both Markle and her husband Prince Harry arrived at the United Nations headquarters to celebrate Nelson Mandela Day, where Prince Harry gave the keynote address where he expressed his love for Africa.

For most of my life, it has been my lifeline, a place where I found peace and healing time and time again,” he said. “It’s where I felt closest to my mother and sought solace after she died, and where I knew I had found a soulmate in my wife.” (The pair famously traveled to Botswana with one another after a mere two dates in the summer of 2016.)

While her husband sported a tailored suit, Markle took a classic LBD for a spin, donning a sleek mid-length black dress, with gold embellished buttons closing two pockets on each hip. She wore her brunette tresses slicked back into a polished, low ponytail with a middle part. Finishing off her look, Markle carried her Mulberry Black Grain Leather Bayswater tote.

Later that day, Markle was photographed hand-in-hand with legendary feminist leader and friend Gloria Steinem. Grabbing lunch at the Crosby Hotel in SoHo, Markle wore a white button-down blouse and tailored navy Bermuda shorts, accentuating her ensemble with saddle brown accessories, including her belt, suede pointed-toe pumps and clutch. Steinem wore an all-black outfit with a statement belt emblazoned with cowrie shells and a large golden buckle. The activist and author also wore her signature aviator shades. The two forged a friendship in 2020 after realizing they were neighbors when Harry and Meghan relocated to Montecito, California.

Stepping out for a night on the town with her husband at Locanda Verde in Tribeca, Markle chose a black and white Gabriela Hearst strapless jumpsuit, reminiscent of the Roland Mouret gown sister-in-law Kate Middleton wore to the Top Gun: Maverick premiere thanks to the white band across the bust and a cutout element in the back. She paired her ensemble with small hoop earrings, a woven burgundy Bottega Veneta pouch clutch, and Aquazzura sandals.
