There’s no arguing Mariah Carey is the unofficial queen of Christmas. Her hit, “All I Want For Christmas” is essentially the festive national anthem, so it makes sense that she extends this sense of cheer into her own celebrations.

Carey shared a glimpse at her own Christmas and Christmas Eve at home with her boyfriend Bryan Tanaka and kids (twins Moroccan and Monroe whom she shares with ex-husband Nick Cannon) and it was nothing short of magic. The night before started with a midnight sleigh ride including live reindeer and a very realistic Santa. Carey wore a skin-tight red catsuit while Moroccan and Monroe twinned (literally) in festive pajamas.

The next morning began the way it does for most parents: with her kids waking her up. Only this was to a view of snow capped mountains and a Christmas tree that was larger than life. There were presents (plenty of them), including wares from Gucci and an inflatable JetSki. While fancier than most, it still felt homey and warm and filled with love — the twins even wore Christmas pajamas featuring their mom’s face (iconic behavoir).

To top it off, Carey also shared the news that the aforementioned hit, “All I Want For Christmas,” broke a global record for the most streamed song on Spotify in a single day, amassing 21,000,000 plays. Talk about a merry morning.

It’s estimated Carey makes millions in royalties annually because of that single track. As per Forbes, she rakes in approximately $2.5 million annually (as she should).

Christmas might be all but over, however it’s only 364 days until we can do it all again.
