“Hello darlings!” Bringing her signature diva-esque demeanor to “paradise,” Mariah Carey delighted fans by filming an Instagram Live with the full glitz and glamour we always expect to see from the star.
The singer took a dip in the pool wearing the most “Mariah” outfit one could think of — a slinky sequined scoop-neck gown. “First of all, do you like the ensemble? I’m not going to tell you who makes it, but you like him,” the singer said.
Celebrating the 17th anniversary of her best-selling album The Emancipation of Mimi, and her new “Big Energy” remix with Latto and DJ Khaled that recently reached number one on the digital sales chart, Carey commemorated her achievements and chatted with fans in the 20-minute clip. There was even a surprise guest appearance from Carey’s 10-year-old daughter Monroe Cannon during the clip.
The superstar sipped on martinis, and donned diamond bracelets on both wrists, along with a pair of chandelier earrings. With her straightened hair blowing in the wind as she sported her lavish designer gown, Carey said, “I’m trying to give mermaid vibes. I wasn’t trying but I love the pool and it’s my favorite place.”
Chatting about her excitement over her new Masterclass, available today, Carey divulged that’s she’s currently “making music” and has big news up her sleeve for the holiday season.
Not the first time the “Hero” singer took a dip in a luxe look, Carey posed in Louis Vuitton from the hot tub in December to celebrate the success of “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” Who needs swimwear when you have sequin gowns?
