Lucy Hale has quickly moved on from The Bachelor‘s Colton Underwood and onto Riverdale star, Skeet Ulrich. The duo were spotted at Sweet Butter Cafe in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 21, for a PDA-filled lunch date. Captured by Page Six, Hale and Ulrich were seen holding hands and kissing before embarking on a stroll, their arms wrapped around one another.
The new couple is believed to have linked up on the set of a Riverdale and Katy Keene crossover episode in 2020 – the latter being a new spin-off series. Katy Keene was subsequently canceled in early July.
The relationship is unexpected to say the least. Not only are they battling a 20-year age gap – Hale is 31, Ulrich, 51 – the Riverdale alum was caught up in an engagement rumor last year. Australian model Megan Blake Irwin was seen wearing a large ring in photos she’d posted of the duo – captioning one, “Mine forever.” They were forced to shut down engagement rumors, according to E! News. And just a couple of months later, the Daily Mail reported the pair had unfollowed each other on social media as well as removed photos of each other on their feeds.
Ulrich has been married twice, to actress Georgina Cates and to actress Amelia Jackson-Gray. He shares two children with Cates, 19-year-old twins Jakob Dylan Ulrich and Naiia Rose Ulrich.
As for Hale, she had a short fling in July 2020 with Illinois State footballer and The Bachelor star, Colton Underwood. He split with the 2019 winner, Cassie Randolph, in May 2020.
Keeping up?
Representatives for both Hale and Ulrich are yet to comment on the relationship according to Page Six. The devil works fast, but these Hollywood stars work (date) faster.
