Since its inception in 1952 by René Ramillon and André Vincent, Moncler has continually pushed the boundaries of design. Luxurious skiwear and après apparel has expanded into haute couture collaborations with the likes of Pierpaolo Piccioli and Kei Ninomiya. Now at Milan Fashion Week the Italian brand will defy the constraints of timezones and technology to present 11 collections across five capital cities. It’s a fitting tribute to how the confines of oceans amid the pandemic have not hindered creative abilities.

Dubbed MONDOGENIUSthe immersive runway experience will join a global audience led by award-winning artist Alicia Keys. You can watch the livestream here from September 25.

In Milan, 1 Moncler JW Anderson will opt for an intimate experience rooted in our favorite pastime of attending the cinema. The city will also host 2 Moncler 1952 Men where creative director and art lover Sergio Zambon, stages a curated exhibition featuring the contemporary artists, and personal acquaintances, Andrea Anastasio, Erwin Wurm and Prem Sahib.

2 Moncler 1952 Woman will be held in a mansion on the Upper East Side of New York City where creative director Veronica Leoni will host a performance by singer Solange Knowles. Moncler’s collaborative partnership with Grenoble by Sandro Mandrino occupies a parking lot in Shanghai, China, and will feature an extreme sports performance. 4 Moncler Hyke – new to the Genius Roster – will be staged at the Telecom Center Building in Tokyo.

The subversive design cues of 5 Moncler Craig Green will also be unveiled in Milan, 6 Moncler 1017 ALYX 9SM will see creative director Matthew Williams look to present via an intimate concert, 7 Moncler FRGMT Hiroshi Fujiwara will stage a street culture installation in the heart of Shanghai and in the same city, up-and-coming designer Dingyun Zhang pays homage to the mountaineering roots on Moncler in a fiction ice environment.

Finally and to round out the designers, 8 Moncler Palm Angels will remain in its home city of Milan and present at gallery Spazio Maiocchi. Moncler + Gentle Monster, another addition to the Genius family, is set to take over the futuristic spaces of the Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul, South Korea.
