Following an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, it is increasingly unlikely we will see Lily-Rose Depp commenting on any romance rumors in the foreseeable future. Last week speculation went flying after the model was spotted with ex-beau, Timothée Chalamet, in New York City.

Speaking with Barrymore, Depp says her famous parents Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis taught her the value of privacy before she also noted the importance of balance.

“The value of privacy is something that’s been instilled in me from an early age,” Depp said. “Growing up in a family like I did, it was always something that was—I always learned the importance of privacy and valuing that and keeping things just for yourself. And that’s something that I’ve carried on into my own career and that’s really important to me.”

“It’s just about balancing that with also wanting to, you know, keep other things private,” she continued “and enjoy other parts of life.”

On April 7, Chalamet was captured by paparazzi entering a car with a mystery woman. Her face was hidden but eyewitness accounts from fans believe it to be the actress. The couple allegedly began dating in 2018 but had parted ways in early 2020 after British Vogue reported the Little Women actor was in fact, single. He was later photographed in a PDA moment with actress, Eiza González.

While we might not hear any comment from Depp on the rumored love, we hope we can rely on Chalamet to spill the beans.

This month, Depp swapped the Chanel runway for the silver screen. Following a role in The King in 2019 (in which Chalamet also starred) the actress took center stage in newly-released film, Voyagers. Starring Tye Sheridan, Colin Farrell and Fionn Whitehead, the film follows a group of young men and women who are bred for enhanced intelligence and conditioned to suppress emotional impulses, as they embark on an expedition to colonize a distant planet.
