The Emily in Paris cast had a mini reunion on Sunday night at the PaleyFest panels, where leading lady Lily Collins opened up about her favorite fashion moments while on set. Considering the clothes (styled by the legendary costume designer Patricia Field) are some of the most talked-about moments on-screen, Collins had a lot of looks to choose from, but one day holds extra-sentimental value for the star.

Collins shot season 2 of the hit show while planning her September 2021 wedding to writer-director Charlie McDowell, and actually said “yes to the dress” (she chose a dreamy Ralph Lauren design) and began her fittings while on set in St. Tropez, France.

Collins told the PaleyFest crowd that she had just completed a night shoot, and “went to bed at five or six in the morning and then the next day I woke up at noon … for my first wedding dress fitting.”

With her friend and costar Ashley Park by her side throughout the pre-nuptial obligations, Park’s heart-warming gesture guaranteed the day would be unforgettable. “[Park] came in and sprinkled rose petals down the hallway so that it was something to always remember,” said Collins. While it was a “weird way” to prep a wedding amid COVID-19,  “I will forever remember that as incredibly special in my life,” the actress shared.

Attending the panel alongside costars Park and Camille Razat, the women served up their own standout style moments for the occasion. Collins popped in her bright blue Prabal Gurung skirt set from the Spring/Summer 2022 collection styled by Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, while Park turned out in a sunny yellow Hervé Léger two-piece set styled by Erin Walsh. Razat maintained her French-girl chic style in an A.W.A.K.E. Mode ensemble, with styling by Lucy Warren.

Collins’ two on-screen love interests Lucien Laviscount (who plays Alfie) and Lucas Bravo (who plays Gabriel) accompanied the trio. With Laviscount confirmed to be returning to Emily in Paris as a series regular, it seems Emily’s love triangle with Alfie and Gabriel is far from over.

Seasons 1 and 2 of Emily in Paris are now available to stream on Netflix, while the series has also been renewed for seasons 3 and 4.
