Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have revealed the first-ever public photograph of their daughter, Lilibet Diana, in a family portrait on their Archewell Foundation Instagram account.

Accompanying the image, which is the family’s 2021 holiday card, is the caption: “This year, 2021, we welcomed our daughter Lilibet, to the world. Archie made us a ‘Mama’ and a ‘Papa,’ and Lili made us a family. As we look forward to 2022, we have made donations on your behalf to several organizations that honor and protect families—from those being relocated from Afghanistan, to American families in need of paid parental leave. Wishing you a happy holiday season and a prosperous New Year, from our family to yours!”

Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor was born on June 4 this year in Los Angeles. She has yet to travel to England to meet her extended family—comprising her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth, and her cousins, George, Charlotte, and Louis, as well as her uncle Prince William and her aunt, the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton.
