Ever since Kylie Jenner confirmed that she was pregnant with a touching Instagram video, verifying reports from GRAZIA weeks ago, fans have been waiting to see if she would make any public appearances with her baby bump. She famously kept her first pregnancy with daughter Stormi a secret, but now that the cat is out of the bag so to speak, Jenner has put her maternity look on full display.
In a little white dress, Jenner was seen out in the Soho neighborhood of New York City, leaving Italian restaurant Carbone. The dress not only featured Jenner’s growing baby bump, but a plunging neckline and corseted waist. Not exactly what you would call typical maternity fashion. Over the top of the dress was a long white trench coat with baggy long sleeves and a collared neckline. Jenner accessorized the look with silver sunglasses, a pointed white heel and petite white handbag.
Jenner is likely in NYC to ring in New York Fashion week, where I doubt she’ll be walking any shows but is sure to be reveling in the fashion and spectacle of it all. She posted an Instagram video of the outfit as well, giving us a closer look at the details in the outfit.
While displaying her baby bump for the first time publicly, Jenner is also following a trend of celebrities wearing all white outfits, and after Labor Day no less. A couple days ago, model Gigi Hadid was also seen around New York City sporting an all white ensemble, and weeks before that, sister Bella Hadid rocked an all white tennis-couture look.
The video that Jenner posted to Instagram revealed that she was only in her first trimester, so we can’t help but wonder, as her pregnancy progresses, will we see more maternity fashion from her? Or will she keep a low profile until the birth of her child?
