Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are officially married! The couple tied the knot in their second ceremony (the first that’s legal) in Santa Barbara on Sunday, before zooming off into the sunset in a convertible with a sign reading, “Just Married.”
According to TMZ, the Blink-182 drummer and the reality star exchanged vows on the steps of the downtown courthouse on Anacapa Island, and acquired all of their official paperwork. Posing in front of their “Just Married” sign with friends and family, including Barker’s father and Kardashian’s maternal grandmother Mary Jo Campbell, the couple was surrounded by bodyguards to keep onlookers at bay. The pair is said to be planning a full-blown wedding ceremony in Italy in the near future.
For the special moment, Kardashian chose in a bridal white veil and mini dress, while Baker was suited up in a black jacket and pants.
Linked since January 2021, Kravis announced their engagement in October, after Barker popped the question on a rose-covered beach in Santa Barbara.
Following the Grammys ceremony in April, the pair spontaneously exchanged vows in Las Vegas’ One Love Wedding Chapel, officiated by an Elvis Presley impersonator.
Kardashian set the scene with her Instagram caption reading, “Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas) at 2am, after an epic night and a little tequila a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no license). Practice makes perfect.”
The couple said “I do,” in matching leather biker jackets and similar rectangular-shaped sunglasses. Kourtney teamed her topper with a yellow bustier emblazoned with a cross motif from Versace’s Fall 2012 collection, while Barker went sans shirt underneath, and layered up with silver chain necklaces.
Finding it too late at 2 a.m. to obtain a marriage license, the couple dubbed the impromptu ceremony their “practice” wedding.
As seen in The Kardashians Hulu reality series, Kravis have embarked on a journey to start a family together, and documented undergoing rounds of IVF on the show.
Kardashian shares sons Mason, 11, and Reign, 7 and daughter Penelope, 9, with ex Scott Disick, while Barker shares daughter Alabama, 16, and son Landon, 18, and step-daughter Atiana De La Hoya, 23, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler.
