It seems like every time the two are spotted in public, it gives us another opportunity to break down their fashion and talk about the specific aesthetics they’re channeling. This time around, Kourtney and Travis were seen on Saturday sporting matching biker looks, with leather jackets and all during their time in New York for Travis’ Saturday Night Live musical performance. Let’s take a look at these looks as well as some behind-the-scenes details about Travis’ performance shall we?
While the two both wore leather jackets, they styled them in completely different fashions. On one hand, Kourtney went very minimal with her design, with plain, black patent leather which knocked down the edgy factor of the look and made room for a more chic and clean aesthetic. She paired it very simply with pair of black leggings, a black undershirt and a clunky pair of black boots, a classic look.
Travis on the other hand adorned his jacket with various patches with different styles of artwork and logos, giving his look the more punk-rock edge that we know him for. Once again, he brought back the 90s trend of the Doc Marten sneaker and finished off the look with a plain white t-shirt and black skinny jeans. Two very similar looks, but each one bringing their own individualistic perspectives.
Ahead of his performance, Kourtney shared snaps to her Instagram story supporting her boyfriend’s appearance on the show. The pictures included Kourtney’s boots on the NBC peacock-patterned carpet with a location tag for Saturday Night Live, as well as a snap of Barker’s name tag on the dressing room door. This comes just weeks after Kim Kardashian poked fun at the two’s PDA on her appearance hosting the late-night show. Funny how life comes full circle, isn’t it?
