The bride wore several looks courtesy of Dolce & Gabbana throughout her wedding weekend, and opted for the brand for the ceremony as well.
To say “I do,” the bride maintained the unconventional flair she’s sported during her other nuptials in a one-of-a-kind Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda white corset-style mini dress, which was inspired by Italian lingerie of the 1960s, the brand said on Instagram.
To complete her look, the reality star wore sheer tulle opera gloves, white lace pump and a long cascading tulle veil depicting the image of the Virgin Mary with the words “family, loyalty, respect” emblazoned below — mirroring one of Barker’s many tattoos. The veil was hand embroidered with floral appliqués inspired by “flowers of the Portofino gardens,” the brand states.
The groom came clad in a black bespoke double-breasted Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo. The couple tapped acclaimed fashion photographer Ellen Von Unwerth to document their nuptials at the Villa L’Olivetta within the estate of Demenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. Andrea Bocelli serenaded the couple’s first dance with a cover of Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling In Love.”
For the reception, Kardashian changed into a similar Dolce & Gabbana minidress in black (with more opera gloves) and in true “Kravis” fashion, Barker removed his new wife’s garter with his teeth in a video shared on his daughter Alabama’s Instagram Story.
Kardashian posted a few images to Instagram with one post reading, “Introducing Mr. And Mrs. Barker,” and another, “happily ever after.”
The wedding weekend kicked off on Friday with a slew of different Dolce & Gabbana looks, both archival and contemporary worn by family and friends in attendance.
The day before the official Kravis ceremony, Kardashian sported a black Dolce & Gabbana corseted minidress from the house’s Spring/Summer 1998 collection, with the Virgin Mary emblazoned on the middle of the dress.
The Poosh founder paired her look with a black opera gloves, black sandals, and a black veil, trimmed with a pop of royal blue lace for lunch at the Abbey of San Fruttuoso and an afternoon boat ride on Saturday.
On Friday, the Barker-Kardashian family gathered for a welcome dinner at Ristorante Puny to kick off the wedding festivities. Adorning a crimson archival Dolce & Gabbana bodysuit with a fitted, transparent maxi overlay, Kardashian accessorized her ensemble with a faux fur red stole and strappy red sandals.
Barker was spotted wearing a black blazer and matching trousers, also by Dolce & Gabbana.
The pair got legally married in Santa Barbara, California on May 15, also wearing Dolce & Gabbana. The courthouse nuptials came off the heels of Barker and Kardashian’s “practice wedding” in Las Vegas on April 4.
