Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have been linked ever since the reality star hosted Saturday Night Live in October, stepping out for cute couples dates and jet-setting on vacation together. But Kardashian just took things to another level on Friday, by finally making their relationship Instagram official.
The SKIMS founder shared a carousel of pics on her Instagram page posing in a glittering oversize tinsel-covered coat with over-the-knee high-shine silver boots captioned, “Whose car are we gonna take?!”
The rest of the pics featured Davidson leaning his head in Kardashian’s lap who’s puckering up for a smooch and a black-and-white blurry selfie of the pair where Kardashian gives a kiss to the camera.
The post marks a significant step in their relationship. Kardashian became legally single earlier this month from ex-husband Kanye West, after a judge granted her request to be declared single, after initially filing for divorce from the rapper in February 2021.
On Davidson’s part, he also revealed a step in their relationship in February when he dropped the “G” bomb during an interview with PEOPLE (The TV Show!) — while a candle featuring Kardashian was displayed behind him on the video call. He explained that his day-to-day life is pretty low-key saying it mostly involves “showing up to a set” or “if I’m off I just either just hang with my friends or chill with my girlfriend inside.”
The duo did previously pose together for Instagram pics, famously wearing matching plaid SKIMS pajamas in photos shared by Flavor Flav’s Instagram in November, but this marks their first official selfie as boyfriend-girlfriend.
Now that they have taken their relationship to the next step on social, don’t get too excited for upcoming appearances by Davidson in the Kardashian family’s new reality show, The Kardashians (arriving on Hulu on April 14).
Earlier this week Kardashian told Variety she hasn’t filmed with Davidson. “I have not filmed with him. And I’m not opposed to it. It’s just not what he does,” she told the outlet. “But if there was an event happening and he was there, he wouldn’t tell the cameras to get away. I think I might film something really exciting coming, but it wouldn’t be for this season.”
But she will tell fans how the pair met. She said viewers can expect to find out “who reached out to who and how it happened and all the details that everyone wants to know.” Kardashian said. “I’m definitely open to talking, and I definitely explain it.”
