KKW fans, the long-awaited return of Kim Kardashian‘s beauty line is almost here. And this time, skincare is coming!

According to Business of Fashion, Coty’s chief executive Sue Y. Nabi confirmed a skincare range from Kardashian’s beauty brand is coming this year, sometime between April 1 to June 30. For a refresher, beauty conglomerate Coty bought a minority 20% stake in KKW Beauty in June 2020 for $200 million.

Nabi told the outlet the line will primarily be focused on skincare, skewing from the makeup the reality star’s fans have come to love. “We really wanted to create something disruptive and top-notch in terms of quality and ingredients,” Nabi said. “So we are focusing on making this a huge success and then we will see for the other categories later.”

BoF reported in April 2021 that Kardashian filed a trademark application under the name “Skkn by Kim,” which would “apply to hair care, nail products and other categories.” Then in July 2021, Kardashian announced KKW Beauty was shutting down as a way for the company to regroup and relaunch a “completely new brand.”

Kardashian wrote on social media last summer that she promised the brand would come back with “new formulas that are more modern, innovative, and packaged in an elevated and sustainable new look,” she wrote.

Adding, “I’m excited to continue to develop and expand my product range and for you to finally be able to experience it the way that I have always envisioned,” the beauty mogul said. “In addition, my team is hard at work to improve the customer shopping experience where you will be able to purchase my beauty and cosmetic offerings in all categories from one single website.”

The KKW Beauty website is still down with a message that reads, “We’re currently away working on a more modern, elevated, sustainable brand and customer experience — the way Kim has always envisioned.”

Also noting, “We promise we won’t be gone for too long.”

For now, Kardashian is busy releasing new styles (including Olympics swag) on her popular solutionswear brand, SKIMS.
