Kim Kardashian made a memorable appearance at the Dolce & Gabbana Spring-Summer 2023 show during Milan Fashion Week when she debuted her collaboration with the Italian fashion house. The star teased the partnership for days ahead of the show on Saturday, and presented a collection of pieces reimagined from the brand’s archives ranging from 1987 to 2007.

While Kardashian didn’t walk the runway with the rest of the models, the reality star graced the catwalk for the finale alongside design duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. The Kardashians star adorned a curve-hugging glittering spaghetti strap black gown and styled her platinum tresses in an updo.

Next, the star had a post-show celebration and switched into a shimmering silver chainmail corseted dress. Kardashian looked ultra-glamourous channeling Old Hollywood in her figure-hugging look, but the tight fit left her waddling around as she made her way through the venue.

The dress featured a lace-up bodice and criss cross lacing up the sides, and skimmed her body gathering at her ankles. In a TikTok clip shared by Kardashian’s friend Stephanie Shepherd, fans got a glimpse of Kardashian’s hysterical waddle as she bunny hopped up a flight of stairs. Kardashian eventually desperately asks, “Is there any elevator?”

The funny clip ends with Kardashian being lifted into a car and laying flat across the seat as she breaks out into hysterical laughter at the whole strenuous journey. The clip quickly called to mind younger sister Kendall Jenner’s struggle up a flight of stairs in her floral fitted Dolce & Gabbana gown at sister Kourtney Kardashian’s Portofino wedding to Travis Barker in May, which took place at the designers’ L’Ulivetta villa.

During Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring-Summer 2023 show, models stormed the catwalk in front of a sprawling screen featuring a black-and-white video of Kim sitting down for a bowl of spaghetti. Kim’s mom Kris Jenner, sister Khloé Kardashian, and kids North, 9, Saint, 6, and Chicago, 4, were perched front row in support of the SKIMS founder.

Since making their runway debut back in 1985 at Milan Fashion Week, Dolce & Gabbana has been known for their sensual Mediterranean house codes with a bombshell maximalist twist.

The Kim-curated collection featured crosses galore, T-shirts with Kim’s face on it, chokers spelling out “KIM,” and many of the archival pieces she wore while celebrating the Kravis nuptials back in May, from the crystal embellished black catsuit from Fall/Winter 1991, to the burgundy velvet bustier from the same collection.

Another iconic moment recreated in the presentation was the shimmering Swarovski crystal chokers and matching bra tops, featured in the fashion house’s Spring/Summer 2000 collection, as seen on Aaliyah in her “Try Again” music video.
