Kim Kardashian is teaming up with Dolce & Gabbana for a little something special this Fashion Week. Ahead of the brand’s Spring/Summer 2023 presentation on Sept. 24, both Kardashian and the fashion house posted a series of black-and-white video clips on Instagram. We’re anticipating some sort of epic collaboration — or maybe a catwalk moment — we’ll be tuning in on Saturday to find out!
One video Kardashian teased featured the star stepping off of a private plane and accepting a bouquet of flowers. She oozed glam with her platinum blonde tresses slicked back into a tight bun, while wearing black sunglasses, a black bra top with a cinching high-waisted skirt, Dolce & Gabbana’s signature cross necklaces and her coat effortlessly thrown over her shoulders. As she walks through a flock of paparazzi, the video closes with the hashtag #CiaoKim.
Another video posted by the SKIMS founder features her lounging in the backseat of a car, wearing a form-fitting lace gown and eating some pizza while cameras flash from outside the windows. Once again embodying Marilyn Monroe (just like the 2022 Met Gala), Kardashian appears as a classic starlet from the golden age of Hollywood. She captioned the post, “An appetizer before the show” with the branded hashtag and a memo to watch the runway show live on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. EST.
In the third video shared, Kardashian wears the same black lace dress and Old Hollywood coif, while licking an ice cream cone, which she shoves on a camera lens before walking away from the crowd.
Over on her Instagram Stories, Kardashian showed off some Dolce & Gabbana merch, including a silk scarf with her face on it, and clutches with hardware featuring “Kim” etched above the branded “Dolce & Gabbana” motif.
Kardashian already arrived in Milan and has stepped out in serval killer looks from the brand, including a black embellished catsuit and a white fitted, fuzzy terrycloth mini dress.
Back in bombshell bodycon silhouettes, and out of her Balenciaga cargo and track pants, Kardashian is hopping on the nostalgic mid-century style train, as epitomized through Olivia Wilde’s new film Don’t Worry Darling and the forthcoming feature starring Ana de Armas as Marilyn Monroe, Blonde.
