Every year, the Kardashian-Jenners host an over-the-top Christmas Eve celebration with a slew of their famous A-list friends and family in attendance. This year was no exception and, of course, everyone went all-out, with the décor, celebrity guest performance and their outfits. Kim Kardashian took the opportunity to switch up her look by going back to her natural brunette shades in a surprising hair-switch up. Kylie Jenner had a high-fashion matching moment with her daughter Stormi, and Kim’s daughter North West even got up on stage to sing. Below, we’re breaking down all the major moments from the night.
First, let’s talk about Kim’s hair change. After going bright blonde to match her Marilyn Monroe moment at the 2022 Met Gala in May, the star has kept her lightened locks in tact throughout the year. But on Saturday, she went back to her brunette roots. She shared a video on Twitter posing with her go-to hairstylist Chris Appleton saying, “We’re back.”

Appleton was responsible for her blonde transformation before the Met Gala — in fact, the hours-long process was captured on the latest season of The Kardashians on Hulu. The hair pro styled Kim’s new beauty look in a center part with flowy waves and the reality star chose an eye-catching gown to show off the new ‘do.
Kim wore a sparkling silver high-shine gown with asymmetrical neckline. As for her sisters, Kendall Jenner and Khloé Kardashian both opted for on-theme red gowns. Kourtney brought bridal vibes in her white long-sleeve crop top with mermaid-style skirt. Kylie went with a skin-tight nude Mugler gown with black lace and a racy thigh-high slit and teamed it with ’50s era finger curls and a deep red lip. Her 4-year-old daughter Stormi Webster, whom she shares with Travis Scott, matched her mom in a Mugler dress too for an adorable mommy-and-me moment.
Kim posted a number of videos with her 9-year-old daughter North West, whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West, on their joint TikTok account, @KimandNorth. There was a clip getting-ready before they headed out, in another they lip synced to a song with Kylie Jenner and North’s friend, and did a pose-off video in their festive outfits.
In the last clip from the night, North was seen singing with superstar Sia, performing “Snowman” in what looks to be a life-size doll package.
It was another fashionable Christmas for the Kardashian-Jenners, indeed.
