Now, less than five years on, the eldest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan has officially caught up to her younger sister, Kylie Jenner, in reaching billionaire status.
Forbes cited Kardashian’s two massively lucrative businesses—her beauty and skincare line, KKW Beauty and, her most recent addition, shapewear line SKIMS—for the reason behind her increased wealth, as well as her ongoing income from Keeping Up With The Kardashians, real estate and various endorsement deals.
Naturally, when Kardashian received the news she was on an ultra-luxurious tropical holiday with her longtime friend, Steph Shep. Instead of responding to the news, she posted a bikini photo on the beach wearing ethically-produced Australian label With Jéan, while continuing to post about her pop-up SKIMS store in Los Angeles. Turns out, billionaires work even while beachside.
Kardashian’s bikini, the baby bikini top and buttercup bikini bottom from With Jéan’s coveted Baby Drip collection, has already been incredibly popular, despite the Northern Hemisphere just entering warmer weather.
The brand, which was started in 2017 by Australian friends and designers, Sami Lorking-Tanner and Evangeline Titilas, reached cult status in the country within months of its release—and was awarded its own Forbes feature last year.
Though it was first its cute floral dresses which went viral, amassing waiting lists of thousands, With Jéan has since built a loyal following for its tops, skirts, pants and now, swimwear. In recent years, the brand has been worn by the likes of Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, Elsa Hosk, Camila Morrone and Martha Hunt – with Kardashian now adding her name to the list of celebrity fans.
