Khloé Kardashian has clapped back at a negative comment made on her Instagram post in true tender-loving Koko style. The reality star posted an image of herself dressed in a vivid blue Avatar-inspired bodysuit for her sister’s birthday celebrations. An internet troll commented below the photo, “if insecurity was a person.”

The reality star was quick to dispel the negativity and replied, “Baby girl, you have to look in the mirror. Only insecure people tear other people down. I’m sending you so much love, health and happiness! I’m sorry that you’re hurting.”

It comes just weeks after an image, unedited and unapproved by Kardashian was accidentally posted to Instagram by an assistant and promptly deleted. But not before it began circulating online.

What resulted was a mad rush by the Kardashian’s legal team to have all reposts of the image withdrawn from the internet. Following this, the Good American founder posted a statement to Instagram addressing the debacle and the criticism she had received in the interim.

“I am not perfect but I promise you that I try everyday to live my life as honestly as possible and with empathy and kindness. It doesn’t mean that I have not made mistakes. But I’m not going to lie. It’s almost unbearable trying to live up to the impossible standards that the public have all set for me.”

The lengthy and revealing post went on, “My body, my image and how I choose to look and what I want to share is my choice. It’s not for anyone to decide or judge what is acceptable or not anymore.”

While the need to protect herself from the destructive appraisal of others is understandable, we’re also left wondering when on Earth women and girls will be freed of the pressure to look a certain way, and simply begin looking however they want.

For now, we’ll enjoy the comment clap back.
