Forget keeping up with the Kardashians—it’s Khloe’s daughter, True Thompson, who’s the one to watch if her over-the-top third birthday party is any indication.

The toddler’s aunt, Kylie Jenner, hosted the lavish April 12 princess-themed celebration in California at her former $12 million Hidden Hills mansion.

Before the soiree began, Kardashian used her bedroom to stage an elaborate photo shoot with True that included dozens of pink balloons, much to the tot’s evident delight. To complete the picture-perfect moment, the mother-daughter duo even wore matching outfits.

Kardashian chose a lilac ruched satin-jersey mini dress from design house Bottega Veneta’s Spring 2021 collection. The piece with an asymmetric hem retails for about $2,200.

Kardashian, 36, then escorted her daughter to Jenner’s home, where Disney princesses Elsa and Anna from Frozen as well as Tiana from The Princess and the Frog held court and greeted guests arriving through a pastel balloon-filled entryway.

Once in the backyard, True’s special guests of honour — limited to just cousins and close family because of the coronavirus pandemic — were treated to a lilac bouncy castle, personalised cupcake decorating stations, and tables set up for an extravagant birthday tea party. Fun music, including Cyndi Lauper’s upbeat 1983 hit “Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” made up the unforgettable event’s soundtrack.

Of course, as with all things Kardashian, the event was properly documented by photographers and videographers.

In a heartfelt message earlier in the day, Kardashian wished her “sweet” daughter a happy day on social media.

“I am not ready for you to be 3,” she wrote on Instagram. “I almost cry every time I call you ‘Baby True’ and you correct me. You say in the sweetest voice ‘I’m not a baby! I’m a big girl!’ I’m not ready for you to be a big girl but you must know, no matter what age you are, you will always be my Baby True.”

Kardashian told the birthday girl that she had changed her life “in more ways than I ever could have dreamed of.”

“You are my best friend,” the reality mom confessed, noting True is her “greatest blessing” and “entire world.”

“Watching you grow up has been one of my greatest honours. Seeing life through your eyes is something so special. It’s something magical. I will cherish every moment I have with you forever. You are every dream I’ve ever had of becoming a mommy come True. Thank you for choosing me! God, thank you for blessing me with my angel,” she concluded.

True’s dad, Tristan Thompson, 30, also paid tribute to her on social media, calling the tot “My Princess.”
