Kendall Jenner always looks fabulous, but that’s no major surprise since she’s a world-famous supermodel. The brunette beauty turned 25 on Tuesday, November 3, having been in the spotlight for 13 years as one of the stars of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
What’s unique about Kendall is that — contrary to popular belief — her look hasn’t changed much through the years. Besides swiping on some lipstick now and then and becoming a blonde for a few days, we don’t find her overall beauty evolution that dramatic.
You see, Jenner’s not one for drawing attention with wild hair changes. Instead, she is known for embracing her signature look: dark brown strands (usually featuring a center part), full brows, and glam that’s the tiniest bit more intense than no-makeup-makeup — but not much.
This observation is particularly interesting because the Kardashian-Jenner clan is constantly accused of getting cosmetic alterations. But by the same token, Kendall’s made it clear that she considers her beauty aesthetic to be different from her family. I’ve always been super different from all my sisters, especially my Kardashian sisters,” Kendall revealed in 2016.
“They’ve always been into the glam thing and dressing up every day and being in the thick of it,” she continues. “Part of me loves that, but at the same time, I love dressing down and having my private life.”
That being said, perhaps the reason she sticks to her classic look is because it works. She always looks great, so what more could she ask for, or need, really? Ahead, take a little trip back in time to get a feel for Jenner’s signature glam and how it’s subtly evolved through the years.

Way back when, the model had braces. Even so, she still looks a lot like how she does when she goes makeup-free (or nearly makeup-free) on social media.

The teenager applied eyeliner, mascara, and lip gloss for the “Kiss & Tell” release party for Selena Gomez in September 2009. It’s hard to believe that this photo is from more than a decade ago.

For the KIIS FM Wango Tango Concert in 2010, Jenner wore her hair in ringlets. These days, she still rocks loose curls but opts for a more natural and windswept look.

Look at this photo from 2013 beside another photo of Jenner wearing red lipstick, and it will be hard to distinguish between her as a teen versus a young adult.

Jenner got dolled up in makeup for the “Kendall and Kylie” collection preview in New York City. Take away the pink tank top and the neon statement necklace, and the model looks 17 going on 25.

The catwalk queen went au naturel on the Michael Kors runway in 2016. By going makeup-free, the star proved that she still looks a lot like her younger self.

To change up her signature look, the California native wore clip-on bangs to the 43rd annual American Music Awards in 2015. She wore her hair up in a little bun on the top of her head to spotlight her fringe.

Enter the year of the bob. For the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, Jenner’s hairstylist maintained her signature center part and styled her short locks so that they were super sleek and shiny.

The model went blonde, but only briefly, for the Burberry runway during London fashion week. Just days later, she attended the 71st annual Primetime Emmy Awards with her signature dark brown locks.

Besides her brushed-up brow moment (pictured above), it’s hard to argue that the star looks much different here from how she did in 2008. Yep, braces and all.
