Mooooove over. Katy Perry is back!
After giving birth to her first child, a baby girl named Daisy Dove Bloom in late August, the fun fashionista returned to her duties at American Idol. Taking the stage, the judge rocked a custom Christian Siriano black and white cow printed ensemble. Effortlessly mixing camp and craft, the over-the-top look included a peplum top with exaggerated puff sleeves, skinny pants, train detail, wide brim hat, oversized earrings, pointed toe pumps and fingerless gloves.
The 35-year-old, who is engaged to actor Orlando Bloom, gave fans a closer look at the outfit and cleverly captioned an Instagram post, “MUTHA MILKS is back to werk @americanidol and it’s 🍼udderly🍼 ridiculously MOO-ving already! 🐄 Not pictured: my pumping breaks.”
Bold, allover prints are a nothing new for the Perry. Particularly throughout her pregnancy, the “Roar” singer rocked a number of memorable motifs. Just last month, she accepted the Gracies Impact Award at the 45th Anniversary Gracie Awards while wearing a voluminous green polka dot ensemble with a tie neck detail.
Back in May for the “American Idol” grand finale, she tuned in virtually wearing a Richard Quinn Fall 2019 daisy print halter dress, a nod to her future daughter’s name. She accessorized with daisy earrings, black headband and flats.
Also while social distancing from the show, Perry posed for the gram wearing an Missoni chevron print embroidered knit cardigan and matching maxi skirt, which she styled with a coordinating white tank and white mule sandals.
On the March 18 episode of the talent competition show, the “Smile” singer bold a yellow polka dot print Stine Goya outfit featuring a peplum hem top with blouson sleeves and a tie-detailing at the waist, paired with matching wide leg pants.
During the February 17 episode, the California native gave off major tropical vibes in a green and white leaf print suit from Sara Battaglia’s Resort 2020 collection.
