Katie Holmes always keeps it real with her street style. She’s refined that ability to look effortless yet put-together every time the paparazzi spot her out and about in New York City. For her latest stop-and-stare style moment, she shared her look of the day on Instagram, posing inside a marble entryway in a casual gray sweatshirt, black trench, white over-the-knee boots and … not much else.
The actress went sans pants in the photo, leaving her black bikini-style briefs on full display. She wore her hair slightly tousled and had minimal makeup to accompany her casual (but memorable) outfit. She didn’t tag anyone in the photo, leaving us wonder if it’s for a new shoot or if she’s just contemplating giving the look a spin in the N.Y.C. streets. Either way, we’re intrigued.
Holmes recently made news for her cute red carpet debut with her boyfriend, Bobby Wooten lll. In May, they attended the Silver Ball celebrating The Moth’s 25th Anniversary Gala in the Big Apple. Wooten was a presenter and honored Talking Heads icon David Byrne with the Storyteller of the Year Award.
Her beau is a Grammy-nominated musician and is a bass player in Broadway productions. He’s performed in David Byrne’s American Utopia (where he also sang and danced) and in Moulin Rouge! The Musical (where he currently plays).
