Carversteak—a 13,500 square foot dining concept helmed by Chef Daniel Ontiveros at the new Resorts World Las Vegas—opened its doors this week, with a Champagne- and tomahawk steak-fueled celebration attended by celebrities including Kate Beckinsale, singer Paris Jackson, and Mario Lopez. Chef Ontiveros, who previously worked for Joel Robuchon, Thomas Keller, and Michael Mina, comes to Carversteak from Scotch 80 Prime at the Palms.
Las Vegas’ newest steakhouse features an ingredients-led menu as well as state-of-the-art entertainment and sound systems—including a 70-foot-long LCD screen that runs the entire length of the bar.
“In crafting the Carversteak story, we began at the source: dry-aged American cuts and Japanese-certified Wagyu steaks,” Chef Ontiveros said in a statement. “Our ingredients set everything into motion—from cooking to presentation.”
On site to celebrate Carversteak’s grand opening this week, Beckinsale wore a festive pre-New Year’s Eve sparkler from Peter Dundas paired with Jimmy Choos.
