Justin Bieber is the mainstay of SKIMS‘ massive rebrand — or at least the internet thinks so. Earlier this week, residents of Los Angeles captured the Yummy singer peculiarly plastered atop a SKIMS billboard, leaving users on the internet imagining a to-die-for mash-up with the shapewear line.

LA drivers first spotted crews setting up a billboard of Justin’s new Balenciaga ad on the Andaz hotel in West Hollywood. In a hilarious turn of events, only the upper half of Bieber — clad in a black leather jacket of the luxury house — was pinned up. On the bottom, however, Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS advert still remained. The billboard gloriously featured soccer player Alex Morgan sporting the coveted line’s grey underwear and socks from the SKIMS X Team USA capsule collection.

Even though the botched billboard was an obvious blunder, the internet couldn’t help but laugh at how the two photos seamlessly lined up. One user tweeted, “Justin Bieber for Skims Balenciaga is the happy accident you could only wish for on a Monday drive home.” As of late, the billboard has been reportedly fixed with its appropriate bottom half (sweatpants and running shoes).

Earlier this summer, it was first revealed that the singer was unexpectedly selected as Balenciaga’s campaign star. Although his stardom affixed to the brand feels unfamiliar, Demna Gvasalia’s penchant for revolutionizing the notions of the old-guard is nothing new. Bieber’s signature hypebeast aesthetic has a hold on the pulse of Gen Z and millennials and naturally garners the brand a younger base (specifically his Beliebers). In the Fall 2021 campaign —  shot by artist and photographer Katy Grannan — he sported an all-black fit: oversized black bomber, black sweatpants and a pair of the brand’s new running sneakers. Legendary French actress Isabelle Huppert also accompanied the popstar in new shoot.
