Beloved Hollywood sweethearts Julia Roberts and Jennifer Aniston are teaming up for an exciting new project. The two actresses are set to star in a body-swap comedy for Amazon Studios from Palm Springs writer-director Max Barbakow, according to Deadline.

It’s reported that the new movie will be based on an original pitch from Barbakow, but the film’s details remain under wraps. The plot, title and release date are still unknown, but it’s been confirmed that Roberts and Aniston will trade identities in the upcoming release.

Amazon Studios won a “heated” auction for the rights to the buzzy new film. Margot Robbie’s production company LuckyChap Entertainment will co-produce with Barbakow, Robert’s production company Red Om Films, and Aniston’s Echo Films.

This won’t be the first time Roberts and Aniston have worked together, the two Hollywood heavyweights appeared in the 2016 romantic comedy Mother’s Day alongside one another.

There’s been talk of another body-swap comedy lately too, when fans learned that both Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan would be on board for a Freaky Friday sequel. Curtis confirmed the she wants to reprise her role in December telling ET, “we’re talking about it, for sure.” Lohan also shared details with Jimmy Fallon in November.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,  the late night host told Lohan that he heard through the grapevine that Curtis had a great idea for a potential Freaky Friday sequel and pitched it to Lohan.

“We did speak about it, yeah,” confirmed Lohan. “First of all, let’s just take the fact that I was on set filming at the time, and Jamie Lee Curtis writes you, and you just get excited and distracted immediately. So, I had to bring myself down to earth and be like, ‘Okay, I’m on set I have to focus.’ And then she said, Freaky Friday 2, and I got more excited.” She added, “We would both be into it.”

As we await more details on Roberts and Aniston‘s forthcoming film, we’ll be keeping an eye on for any Freaky Friday news as well. Watch this space.
