For whatever reason it seems the world is obsessed with the details of Jennifer Aniston‘s love life. She shut down rumors earlier this year after the tabloids were convinced she was adopting a child (she isn’t). And late last week the actress assured fans that she wasn’t dating David Schwimmer much to our disappointment. Now however, the 52-year-old has admitted she is ready to find love again.

Speaking to Bruce Bozzi on the SiriusXM podcast Lunch with Bruce, Aniston has confirmed she isn’t seeing anyone and more importantly, does not want to use dating apps (sorry Raya users).

“No one of importance has hit my radar yet,” she said. “But I think it’s, I think it’s time. I think I’m ready to share myself with another,” later adding, “no Tinders and no Rayas please. I’m an old-school girl.”

She also explained her reason for not dating came down to her enjoyment of being independent. Hear that ladies! “I loved really being my own woman. Without being a part of a couple. I’ve been a part of a couple since I was 20, so there was something really nice about taking the time.”

So what does Aniston look for in a partner? She says a good kisser is “pretty important”.

“That, and also the ease at which the conversation flows the first time,” the actress noted. “That’s kind of a good indicator. Confidence, but not a cockiness. Humor, please I beg of you, beg of you. Generous. Kind to people.”

Aniston split from her husband Justin Theroux in 2017. They began dating in 2011 and married in a secret ceremony at their home in Bel Air in August 2015.

As for the reason of their divorce, the couple released a statement in February 2018 which read: “We have decided to announce our separation. This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship.”

Aniston was also married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005.
