A few months after his ex-wife Olivia Wilde’s romance with Harry Styles was confirmed, Jason Sudeikis went viral when he appeared on screen at the 2021 Golden Globes wearing none other than a tie-dye hoodie. The casual outfit choice when others at the event were in red carpet gowns and three-piece suits, promoted social media responses, such as, ‘Wow, men really are out here doing the least.’

Others were more forgiving, noting they’d likely be wearing nothing other than sweatpants and hoodies if their ex-wife happened to be galavanting around the world with the hottest musician currently alive on planet earth

Fast-forward to now and Sudeikis has not only traded his hoodie for swimwear but he’s done so on the beach in Mexico kissing his Ted Lasso co-star, British actress and model Keeley Hazell. Earlier this week, the pair were photographed taking a walk along the beach, before pausing for a makeout session, confirming they’re very much more than friends. The holiday come months after it was rumored the pair were dating in February (a few months after Wilde and Styles were first spotted together), before sources in July said the casual romance had fizzled.

As for now? “They’re casually seeing each other again,” a source told PEOPLE. “It’s never been a serious thing. They’re just enjoying each other’s company.”

Sudeikis first met 35-year-old Hazell on the set of his 2014 movie Horrible Bosses 2, in which she had a minor role. The pair had been “longtime friends,” a source previously told E! News, before things turned romantic.

In July, the same month as the pair reportedly cooled off their romance, Sudeikis addressed his split with Wilde for the first time. “I’ll have a better understanding of why in a year,” he told GQ. “And an even better one in two, and an even greater one in five, and it’ll go from being, you know, a book of my life to becoming a chapter to a paragraph to a line to a word to a doodle.”

“That’s an experience that you either learn from or make excuses about,” he continued. “You take some responsibility for it, hold yourself accountable for what you do, but then also endeavor to learn something beyond the obvious from it.”
