As Miami Beach celebrated its inaugural Formula One Grand Prix race over the weekend, Swiss luxury watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen installed its Big Pilot Exhibition at Miami’s FTX Off the Grid Festival.

The luxury watchmaker was dubbed the official timekeeper of the festival, and brought its successful exhibition to the beachfront event. Since launching in 2021, the IWC Big Pilot Exhibition has traveled to over 30 cities throughout seven countries, before landing in Miami’s South Beach district.

Hosted within specially crafted shipping containers, the exhibition offers a behind-the-scenes look, and rare insight, into the world of luxury watchmaking. It showcases iconic timepieces from Schaffhausen, like the newly released Pilot’s Watches, and brings the rich heritage and storied history of IWC to life.

Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the various intricacies of the watchmaking process from knowledgeable staff on hand, while trying on different styles as well.

Atop the luxe storage containers housing the exhibit, IWC presented the luxe space, the “Mojave Lounge,” where guests were able to take in concert performances at the festival with an exclusive view of the stage.
