On the social media platform TikTok, @travelinghotelmanager shares her best expert advice for travelers who opt for hotel stays. She highlights the dos and don’ts for an optimal experience.
One of her most shared tips is never to use the dispenser bottles in the hotel shower to wash your body and hair. Unlike the sample products offered by the hotel that are individually wrapped and therefore safer, these large bottles in the showers are less secure. Because they are not always sealed, ill-intentioned individuals could pour just about anything into them. Products to which you could be allergic, chemicals, you name it. This revelation has made waves, with the video already receiving 1 million views and being shared nearly 27,000 times!
For the best experience, she advises always using your own products. Travel-sized products are easy and convenient to use, so you can recreate your home bathroom experience, wherever you are — including during your hotel stays!
