Will 2022 officially be Hot Hamptons Summer? Since more and more people have made the Long Island weekend destination their 24/7 living sitch — thank you, WFH — their stylists, facialists and Soul Cycle instructors have followed. Lifestyle mogul and Sag Harbor mainstay, Gretta Monahan, explains, “So many people came out to the Hamptons during the pandemic and decided to stay. You can’t beat the quality of life out here. While before it may have been difficult to get a city-level salon experience, there’s no shortage of amazing beauty and wellness experts and outposts now.”

Whether it’s celebrity makeup artist Quinn Murphy — who serves major red-carpet glam for bicoastal A-listers — or Chanel’s first Brow Artist, Jimena Garcia — for the snatched brows of your dreams — your beauty and wellness regime can get seriously elevated this summer even if you’re not in the city. The best part ever? No more scrambling for a last-minute blowout or mani-pedi appointment before hopping on the Friday night Jitney.

Dubbed the “Queen of Injectables,” Lauren Abramowitz, PA-C, founder of Skin Solutions Collective, has solidified her reputation after 20 years of treating in-the-know and ageless Manhattanites on Park Avenue and in Tribeca. She’s since expanded her Collective to Greenwich, Miami, and Southampton. With a nuanced aesthetic — Abramowitz’s mantra is “subtle, yet substantial” — she offers every kind of skin treatment from classic injectables to dermal fillers and the latest lasers. Sought-after body treatments like Thermage and CoolSculpting are obviously designed for beach season. Abramowitz’s vibe is warm, empowering, and individually tailored to each patient. There’s a reason why she treats multiple generations of families who trust her to give them amazing skin.

From the Upper East Side to Miami to Bridgehampton, the Valery Joseph Salon is a socialite and celebrity mecca. Joseph’s precise, sculptural cuts echo his background in architecture, and his obsession with healthy hair draws wide-ranging celebrities such as Helen Mirren, Ivanka Trump, and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. (Fun fact: Lady Gaga went from black to blonde with one of his colorists.) The Bridgehampton outpost is a full-service salon that offers cuts, colors, and blowouts as well as makeup, manicures, and waxing. All treatments can be done outside and stylists will make house- and boat-calls… it’s the Hamptons, after all.

Brow Artist: Jimena Garcia

With everyone in the beauty monde raving about Jimena Garcia — she’s a brow “wizard,” “goddess,” “guru,” and “virtuoso” depending on who you ask — it’s no wonder the house that Coco and Karl built (oui, Chanel) designated her as their first official Brow Artist. Garcia initially had a career in Art History at The Metropolitan Museum and Parsons School of Design. That fine art background led to the study of people’s faces, and now Garcia uses her keen eye to create a natural and individual aesthetic for each client. An appointment starts with a discussion of your brow goals, followed by a variety of techniques that can include tweezing, waxing, sugaring, and brow massage — all using Chanel products, of course. Garcia will be available for private appointments.

Nail Artist: Mo Qin

There’s no shortage of Hamptons nail salons for a basic mani-pedi, but IG grid-worthy nails? Not so much. Luckily, celebrity nail artist Mo Qin is taking private appointments this summer in the Hamptons. (Her NYC salon, Oh My Nails, is open seven days a week.) Qin’s A-list clientele includes Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, Ashley Graham, Selena Gomez, and several stars of this year’s Met Gala: Lily Allen, Emily Ratajkowski, and Eileen Gu. She’s even done Pete Davidson’s nails! Qin’s designs run from wicked gothic to intricate glamour to colorful whimsy, but if it’s a classic French you’re after — like Bey on vacay — Qin can execute perfectly. Get inspo from her own IG grid (@ohmynailsnyc).
