In the Northern hemisphere things are starting to cool down, and as October creeps into November, the inevitable question of ‘coat season’ arises. For most of us, we’re asking ourselves the same things: Practical or stylish? Classic or seasonal? But if you’re 23-year-old Hailey Bieber, the answer is d) all of the above. The model stepped out in Bottega Veneta’s cult-y autumn winter ’21 shearling fringed coat during a coffee run in New York yesterday—a winter ‘must have’ that clocks in at a cool $13,000.

Bottega Veneta debuted the egg yolk-hued coat to much fanfare at Milan Fashion Week in February, with the hype ensuring it would become an Instagram fixture once it became available in September. With the exception of a couple of street style pundits during this season’s socially distanced Fashion Month, Bieber is the first major celebrity to be spotted in the coat, which she wore with wide-legged jeans, Nike sneakers and her characteristic midriff-baring tank top.

Later that evening, Bieber debuted yet another new-season BV purchase, stepping out for ‘date night’ with her husband Justin Bieber (shortly after the pair revealed matching tattoos) wearing a form-fitting leather bodice dress and a zebra-striped Bottega Veneta pouch bag. Another exxy outlay, the lamb leather bag—which features a chunky silver chain strap—retails for $5,300.

Bieber is far from the only A-lister to fall under Daniel Lee’s spell. Kylie Jenner has been wearing the newest season on rotation in the last few weeks, as has supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. And when the end result looks this good, can you blame them?
