Hailey Bieber

Hailey Bieber wore her Sunday best on Easter, using the occasion to cement her place as a trendsetter when it comes to the latest red carpet and runway addition: rosettes.

While we’re well aware that florals for spring most definitely aren’t groundbreaking, perhaps Miranda Priestly would take a pause when seeing the way rosettes are being used in recent collections, including on Bieber’s white Easter Sunday mini dress.

The piece by Polish designer Magda Butrym features a fitted waist silhouette, a diamond keyhole cutout at the chest and a pair of 3D rosettes at the bust. Bieber kept the rest of her look simple and fresh, similar to the way Kendall Jenner also wore her Easter dress, adding her signature dewy minimal makeup and adding a pair of chunky gold earrings to complete her ‘fit.

This isn’t the first time the model has shown her love of the rosette resurgence. Back in February, she wore another piece by Magda Butrym: a pink halterneck that also featured a rosette at the top of its thigh split. She’s also shown her love of Vietnamese designer FanciClub, known for its floral additions and ruffles, plus, at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty, Bieber opted for a beige long-sleeved gown by Saint Laurent, which featured ruched detailing and waist cutouts held together by a large metallic rosette.

Other celebrities who have jumped on the Carrie Bradshaw-era trend include Zendaya, in that pink Valentino gown, Nicole Kidman in Armani Privé embroidered with multiple sequined rosettes at the Oscars, Harry Styles at the Brit Awards, Cara Delevingne at the SAG Awards, Lizzo at the Grammys, and Suki Waterhouse at the VF Oscars afterparty, where Tessa Thompson and Florence Pugh’s bralettes were made up of the flower in a similar vein to Bieber’s dress.

But has anyone else worn the trend three times this year alone? That accolade goes to Bieber and Bieber alone.
