The hot weather has well and truly started in the northern hemisphere and now that most millennials are fully vaxxed in the US, it actually looks like we could get something resembling—dare I say it—normal this summer.
Taking advantage of the current easing of COVID-19 restrictions are Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner, who took off with friends for a girl’s weekend by the beach.
Posing on Instagram, Bieber showed the women lounging in various very cute bikinis, swimming in the ocean and, of course, drinking a lot of Jenner’s newly released 818 Tequila brand.
For the trip, Bieber went a little more low-key than friend Emily Ratajkowski’s full Versace suitcase, opting instead for a summery dress by RIXO.
In two photos posted to her Instagram grid, the model wore a black short-sleeve midi dress by the British brand which is covered in red flowers, with a V-neck and lace detailing. It’s currently still available to shop online, but if other pieces Bieber has been spotted sporting recently are anything to go by, it won’t last long:
Bieber is clearly a fan of printed summer dresses—most of which are refreshingly either high street or mid-tier designer.
Last week, Bieber wore Reformation’s Saskia dress, a floral green mini with a fitted bodice. The piece is now sold out on the brand’s website, but there’s a wait list for those who wanted to be first in line when it’s restocked.
Plus, recently the 24-year-old wore a red slip dress by Australian brand Holiday the Label. Dubbed the ‘Happy Hawaii vacation slip dress,’ the piece is a spin on the classic 90s bias-cut slip dress, with features including adjustable spaghetti straps and a scooping neckline. Unfortunately, this too has now sold out, but there are other options in the brand’s same signature print still available.
Meanwhile, Jenner, who just celebrated one-year with her NBA-playing boyfriend Devin Booker, took advantage of the sun, wearing printed bikini after printed bikini, including one with a colorful mesh long-sleeve top.
Hot Vax Summer, indeed.
