In September, Gwyneth Paltrow celebrated her 50th birthday by stripping down to her birthday suit and this week, the Academy Award-winning actress and entrepreneur revealed to Jimmy Kimmel that the nude photoshoot would be her last one.

On Monday evening, the star appeared on a special Halloween episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! where she dressed up as Winnie the Pooh and discussed her latest naked shoot. “My team at Goop, they wanted me to celebrate turning 50 with a naked-ish photoshoot,” she explained to the late night host. “I said, ‘Okay guys, this is the last naked photoshoot. That’s it! I’m done.’”

When asked if it was a spray application, Paltrow clarified that the gold paint was applied with a “spongey type of thing.”

The Goop founder shared the nude photo on Instagram in honor of her birthday on Sept. 27 posing nude while covered in glistening gold body paint.

“All I know is that they’re painting me gold and that I have to be naked,” Paltrow told Goop ahead of her gold-themed birthday shoot. “I feel so good turning 50, and this is about expressing that sense of energy and optimism that I’m experiencing. It’s more about the female gaze and just a sense of fun.”

Makeup artist Lottie covered the Goop founder with GOOPGENES face cream, eye cream, lip balm and body butter before piling on the gold powder. “I have never felt so moisturized,” Paltrow said.

The star didn’t quite answer whether or not this would be her last nude shoot at the time, but she mused on growing older saying, “I think aging is actually a beautiful thing. We just need to open our perceptions. As you become more yourself, in integrity, your life really opens up.”
