This summer, a slew of high-fashion brands are heading out East with special pop-up shops and seasonal soirées. One brand doing both, is Gucci, which celebrated its East Hampton store over the weekend with its second annual summer celebration.
The event was hosted at the family home of stylist Elizabeth Saltzman and was a celebrity-packed party with a guest list that included Christy Turlington, Grace Gummer, Jemima Kirke, Natasha Lyonne, Rachel Zoe, Olympian Lindsey Vonn, designer Kerby Jean Raymond, The Gilded Age‘s Louisa Jacobson, makeup artist Gucci Westman, Derek Blasberg, and GRAZIA USA Game Changer Athena Calderone, to name just a few. (Needless to say they were all decked out in the latest Gucci styles.)
Actress Sophia Bush and new husband Grant Hughes also made an appearance, days after announcing they tied the knot in June (have you seen pictures of her dress?).
Guests partied on a “G” printed dance floor to music from DJs Mark Ronson and Kitty Cash (there was also a surprise silent disco at the end of the night) and enjoyed local food and drinks from Amber Waves Farm, Loaves and Fishes, Carvel, and Wölffer. The brand also contributed to three nonprofit partners that focus on food insecurities including Long Island Cares, The Harry Chapin Food Bank, East Hampton Food Pantry and will donate funds to Amber Waves Farm.
The party honored the brand’s East Hampton store, which recently launched the exclusive Gucci Resort Collection. The line features items with GG monogram with a zig-zag-patterned background in colors specific to the region where they’re exclusively sold (you can check out the Hamptons straw tote bag, here).
