Going out bags, let’s talk about them. As a fashion girl, when I go out, my look has to be perfect down to the last detail. My biggest vice in this world is a great designer bag. It’s where all my money goes, but sometimes, wearing an investment bag up in the club can be a tad risky. So where does this leave us? The going out bag. It’s the time when you should choose a cool, emerging brands who makes fab stuff without the hefty price tag of the big brands.
So what exactly constitutes something as a perfect going out bag? I prefer a shoulder bag, but it has to sit perfectly right underneath my arm. I know there are crossbody girlies out there as well, so don’t worry, I got you. A good going-out bag needs to fit my jumbo iPhone (what number edition are we even on??) and it needs to pair well with my going out wardrobe. All of these factors are incredibly important.
Check out my picks below for the perfect going out bags.

I’m kicking things off with what I consider the perfect bag for a night out. The size is great, it sits right under the shoulder, the mixed metal hardware detail can be worn with silver or gold accessories, and you can’t beat the price for the quality.

Channel your inner Carrie Bradshaw with this sequin baguette bag.

For the girls that need a little bit more room. The Tay Tay is still compact enough to be considered a going out bag but the size allows you to carry extras like a pressed powder or a phone charger.

If black feels boring but you’re not ready to commit to a bright color, this is the bag for you. Khaki is a neutral and the silver hardware adds some edge.

Carry this metallic mini by the top handle or wear it cross-body with the longer strap.

The cool croc texture and sleek silver hardware will elevate any look for a night out.
