Back in April, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik’s pregnancy was leaked to the press after what looked to be a 25th birthday meets gender reveal party at the Hadid’s country home. At the time, Hadid told Jimmy Fallon, “We wished we could have announced it on our own terms,” before confirming that she’s expecting her first child with her musician beau.
Fast-forward a few months and fans have started speculating that Hadid has, in fact, already given birth. The rumours started when Hadid’s younger sister, Bella, posted a throwback photo of the pair a couple of days ago, writing that she “can’t stop crying.” Then it was Hadid’s father’s turn to put his foot in it, posting a poem dedicated to his new grandchild (which he then deleted, assuring fans said grandchild is firmly still in the belly.)
Of course, Hadid would’ve heard the gossip and will be fully aware that we’re all after our first look at her little muffin child, but she’s not giving in that easily. As she said earlier, she wants to do this on her own terms.
Taking to Instagram to post for the first time since everyone decided she’d become a mother, Hadid shared four photos of her baby bump from when she was 27 weeks pregnant. “From about 27 wks 🥺💙 time flew,” she wrote.
Hadid’s model friends quickly responded to the post with Helena Christensen saying: “Can’t wait to see you and your little one” and Adriana Lima adding: “Beautiful mama, much love to you.”
No word yet on what ‘her own terms are,’ but after she dropped a surprise, spectacular baby bump photoshoot back in August, our fingers and toes are crossed for a similar style introduction to the new Hadid/Malik baby.
