June 13, 2021: Brights are in for the summer 2021 season, and it seems like everyone is embracing the trend in both the fashion and beauty categories. Last month, Kim Kardashian’s Skims line unveiled its highly anticipated neon colorway, and Doja Cat blessed us with oh-so-many bold makeup looks. The latest celeb to hop on the neons bandwagon is Gigi Hadid, thanks to a stunning orange eye look brought to life by Patrick Ta.
Over the weekend, Hadid posted an image to Instagram of her rocking electrifying orange pigment solely in the inner corners of her eyes. Ta teamed it with a deep peachy-pink blush on the apples of her cheeks, a rose-colored lip, a neutral eye color to enhance the contours of the lid, and all topped off with gorgeous bushy brows. This combination majorly made her eyes pop, garnering close to four million likes on Instagram.
Hadid captioned the photo with a tv emoji and a flower, teasing “coming soon,” which offers little to no explanation regarding the reason for this fabulous makeup. Fear not, though—we’re sure we’ll see this look again. A makeup moment this good is likely for a special photoshoot. It wouldn’t come as a shock for it to be a new Maybelline campaign, given Hadid’s work as the face of the brand. Not to jump the gun, but we’d definitely add that pretty orange pigment to our cart.
