The secret is out. After keeping the name of her baby girl with Zayn Malik under wraps for months, Gigi Hadid has finally shared the little one’s unique moniker on Thursday, January 21.

In an oh-so-subtle move, the supermodel simply added “khai’s mom” to her Instagram bio, much to the excitement of her nearly 70 million followers. According to names.org, Khai is of Arabic origin and means “Crowned.” Hadid is half Palestinian, while Khai’s dad is part Pakistani and had an Islamic upbringing.

The day before the big reveal, the 25-year-old beauty gave fans a glimpse of her life as a new mom, sharing several posts about being a parent to her four-month-old daughter on her Instagram Stories. In a screenshot of a text message seemingly sent to Malik, she wrote: “Hey … I’m obsessed w our kid.”

Hadid went on to give a shout-out to her fellow mothers in another post, captioning a video of herself winking at the camera, “to new moms: if u washed your face today, i’m proud of you.”

The famous couple, who recently sparked engagement rumors, welcomed their daughter, Khai, back in September.

“Our baby girl is here, healthy & beautiful,” the former One Direction member tweeted at the time.”To try to put into words how i am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love i feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, & thankful for the life we will have together x.”

In the month since giving birth, Hadid has regularly been sharing sweet baby bump throwback pics and giving fans a sneak peek at her daughter’s adorable nursery.

“Gigi is a natural when it comes to mothering. She’s so kind and compassionate, and it really shows in her mothering style,” an insider told Us Weekly  back in October. [She’s] turning down business opportunities so that she can spend the first year with her baby.”
