Let’s be honest, working out can be a pain and there are some days where finding the motivation seems impossible.

Florence Pugh may be a Hollywood A-Lister but she is proving she’s just like the rest of us when it comes to procrastinating before a workout. On Monday, the Little Women star took to her Instagram Story and shared her struggling getting through her exercise routine.

The 24-year-old goofed off wearing a white tee featuring cartoon avocados on it, with her blonde hair tied up in a pink scrunchie and jammed out to song “Supalonely” by Benee. “This is my ‘procrastinating doing another set of abs’ dance,” she wrote on her Story.

The song then switched to “Sensual” by Neiked featuring Dyo as Pugh danced around outside, channeling A Chorus Line. Her dog also made a cameo.”Yeah yeah..I practice my high kicks and totes tone my arms at the same time,” she continued.

The actress, who has been dating actor/director Zach Braff since April 2019, had to step up her fitness routine last year when she landed the role of Yelena Belova in the upcoming Marvel Superhero movie Black Widow alongside Scarlett Johansson. In preparation, she mainly focused on resistance training to tone her body, working out on average four to five times a week.

“Essentially, you need to look good moving,” Pugh told Elle over the summer. “For me, I loved all of that because I grew up with a lot of dance and a lot of movement.”

But Pugh also told the magazine that she didn’t want her diet and exercise to be “constantly checked on” during filming.

“When I got the job, I wanted to know what the regime was,” she said. “I wanted to know whether it was them or me calling the shots,” she said. “That was a big deal for me. I didn’t want to be part of something where I was constantly checked on and people making sure I was in the ‘right’ shape. That’s not me at all.”

This wasn’t the first time Pugh has spoken about her desire to maintain control over her exercise and appearance while working on a film. In February, the actress told Glamour UK that she realized early on in her career that she didn’t want to have to lose weight for a role.

“I did a job where it was made very apparent that I needed to lose weight and when it was over, I was very aware I didn’t want to do that kind of work,” she said. “Because I was faced with that, I realized what I wanted to represent, and had that not happened, I may not have overcome my issues with my body at such an early age. I’m happy about that, but a lot of women aren’t that lucky.”

The actor also trained intensely in 2018 when she starred as professional wrestler Paige in Fighting With My Family, a comedy-drama co-starring Lena Headey and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Assigned a CrossFit coach, Pugh started off her intensive training in Oxfordshire and then was put through her paces at the NXT in Orlando, Florida – where WWE’s next-generation stars are groomed.

“As soon as we got the roles, [director] Stephen [Merchant] mentioned he wanted us to do as much wrestling as we could, Pugh told Culture Trip. “We would have stunt doubles, but he wanted to get us in the ring so we needed to get really strong. We were assigned CrossFit trainers, and it was a month of intense squatting and eating as many protein bars as possible. And wrestling 24/7. My trainer had a gym in Oxfordshire, which is where I was based at the time. I still train with my guy because I actually got ready with him for The Little Drummer Girl. It’s brought a lot of skills to the surface.”

Pugh’s next role won’t require any additional physical training. The English beauty has signed on to Olivia Wilde’s next film Don’t Worry, Darling, in which she stars along Harry Styles as a housewife who discovers a disturbing truth while living in an isolated community in the California desert in the 1950s. Wilde, who directed the 2019 hit film Booksmart, will also play a key supporting role.

So go on with your procrastination, girl!
