British luxury fashion brand Victoria Beckham, known for its quiet, understated luxury, is extending that same thoughtful approach to luxury, with a curated capsule collection in collaboration with The Woolmark Company. With sustainability at the center, it’s gorgeous knitwear, with intention. The collection is compromised of a 20-piece adult knitwear edit and a 14-piece childrenswear edit, with vibrant hues of crimson, pops of yellow, color blocking and adorable versions for your favorite young people. Environmental impact has been considered throughout the design process, from sourcing materials to the development, manufacturing, plant-based natural dyeing process, to even production and packaging of each piece—the packaging and labelling use recycled poly labels and biodegradable Polybags. With an offering of polo and crewneck sweaters, V-neck cardigans plus gift sets of scarves and headwear, the result is an incredibly chic yet cozy edit, that is fully traceable from farm to shop. The collection is made in Pescara, Italy, from 100% natural, renewable and biodegradable Merino wool. In a first for Victoria Beckham, everything is fully traceable back to 5 Australian farms.

When asked about how this collaboration came about, Victoria Beckham tells GRAZIA “I was a judge for the International Woolmark Prize for three years running so we have a longstanding relationship.” With Victoria and The Woolmark Company’s history of familiarity, this collaboration is truly an organic pairing. Beckham’s commitment to thoughtful design and materiality mixed with The Woolmark Company’s mission of sustainability through natural fibers mix perfectly for this capsule collection. “I think the work they (Woolmark) do to raise awareness around sustainability and support brands to be better in that space is just brilliant” Beckham says. “Quite early into my fashion industry career I realized that Merino wool was an essential natural fibre to the luxury fashion world – so I didn’t hesitate to collaborate with the team when the opportunity came to create a capsule collection.”
