A multi-hyphenate talent, model, actress, and bestselling author, Emily Ratajkowski is flexing her design muscles as latest brand ambassador for the beloved sneaker line, Superga. Fronting the Italian label’s Spring/Summer 2022 campaign, the Inamorata founder also collaborated with Superga to bring us a capsule collection that fuses the brand’s storied Italian history with a contemporary, effortless design ethos.

A dedicated fan, Ratajkowski has been spotted in Superga while jet-setting around the world. From running to castings and photoshoots, to traipsing around New York City with her husband Sebastian Bear-McClard, their son Sylvester Apollo, and the family’s dog, a Husky-German Shepherd mix named Colombo, Superga’s classic white sneaker has always been her go-to.

“I love Superga and their timeless approach to sneakers. I’ve been wearing the brand for years, so this collaboration felt completely natural to me,” said Ratajkowski in a press release.

Ratajkowski put her own spin on two of the brand’s classic staples, the Superga 2750, and a style known as the Alpina.

Staying true to the 2750’s origins (which was “conceived as the first Italian tennis shoe over 100 years ago” by the brand’s owner, according to the release), the Gone Girl actress revamped the shoe with a new all-white look, with tubular laces, and an exclusive collaboration stamp on the inside. She put the same all-white, tubular twist on the Alpina, a platform style which originally made its mark in the 1950s as a shoe for hikers and trekkers.

Shot by Zoey Grossman, stylist Emma Morrison paired each sneaker with oversize suiting and comfy basics, further emphasizing the classic simplicity of Superga styles.
