Last night, retailer Revolve brought their collaboration with fashion house Dundas to the runway at Casa Cipriani. As the face and muse of the DUNDAS X REVOLVE campaign, Emily Ratajkowski was in attendance along with Victoria’s Secret models Barbara Palvin and Alessandra Ambrosio. The show premiered fifty looks from the collection at the show, the first of multiple drops to come. The campaign was inspired by American rock music and Americana culture, according to a statement from Peter Dundas, DUNDAS co-founder & creative director.

“Working on the DUNDAS x REVOLVE collection was a great experience for me because I was able to incorporate my signature DUNDAS elements and both feel really complimentary ” Dundas said. “Being half-American and showing in New York, I had fun finding inspiration in American rock music and Americana culture to design an entire wardrobe for the sexy, body-conscious loving customer both brands attract.”

In attendance was British model Emily Ratajkowski, who recently made her re-appearance into the world of runway after taking a maternity leave after the birth of her son. Ratajkowski is the face and muse for the DUNDAS X REVOLVE collection, appearing in the promotional material for the campaign. She posed in multiple pieces from the collection, in an edgy styling that combined refined sillouhettes with cutting edge and bold designs. At the event, Ratajkowski can be seen wearing the collection’s bright Siouxsie Mini Dress, aptly named after Siouxsie Sioux, lead singer of Siouxsie and the Banshees, in line with the campaign’s inspiration from rock music.

Also making an appearance were Victoria’s Secret models Barbara Palvin and Alessandra Ambrosio, with Palvin wearing the collection’s Moon Mini Dress, while Ambrosio wore the Spellbound Maxi Dress, named after a legacy song from the aforementioned rock band Siouxsie and the Banshees.

The Moon Mini Dress follows the same black and gold color palette, but opts to provide a more casual and night-out silhouette than the Spellbound Maxi Dress, which is more dramatic in style.

“This is an exciting moment for us as we feel that REVOLVE’s approach to fashion is the future of global retailing. For both Peter and I, their approach aligns with how we think high fashion and luxury should evolve,” Evangelo Bousis, co-founder and image director of DUNDAS said. “Enabling consumers to purchase designer pieces at a great price point, allowing for a wider customer audience for more than just one exclusive collection is amazing. Now everyone can own a piece of Peter’s beautiful designs.”
