We’re officially mid-way through the Spring/Summer 2024 season of Paris Fashion Week. Rather than suffering from a bout of fashion fatigue, it seems that those attending the shows in the French capital are getting more inventive than ever when it comes to styling their ensembles.
Case in point: New York native, Emily Ratajkowski.
The supermodel has just touched down in Paris with her two-year-old son Sylvester (Sly). The star hasn’t divulged her itinerary, but we’re expecting to see her planted in the front row at LOEWE.
Perhaps it was her fashion faux par from last season—as you’ll recall, the New York Times best-seller wore nothing next to nothing to the Maison’s SS24 menswear show after deciding to don a leather trench coat in the peak of European summer—that’s resulted in this experimental styling trick.
Her PFW-approved hack? Fashioning a corset into a dress. Sartorial sorcery, indeed.Â
The classic corset remains in high rotation in Ratajkowski’s off-duty arsenal. However, the podcaster has upped the ante for her time in Paris. For those curious about the logistics of this look, allow us to break down the silhouette.
