Two months later and we can’t get enough of Dua Lipa’s modern-day Marie Antoinette look debuted at the 2021 BRIT Awards back in May—and neither can TikTok it seems. The 25-year-old paired her Vivienne Westwood minidress and platform boots with a three-row pearl necklace from the famed English fashion designer. The result? A TikTok famous necklace that’s sold out two times already.
Luckily enough, a mini version of Lipa’s necklace is once again available, so you too can feel the regalness (red carpet or not.) Lipa’s choker holds the signature Vivienne Westwood orb and Saturn ring logo encrusted with light topaz Swarovski crystals that dazzle in the sunlight. Her TikTok fandom certainly has already taken full advantage of emulated the star’s iconic look, a trend we can definitely get behind.
Dua Lipa’s stylist Lorenzo Posocco always knows how to follow an assignment—and well. Not only did he create this surreal look, but he also picked a designer who has backing in high society. Vivienne Westwood’s Orb logo itself is reminiscent of the United Kingdom’s crown jewels. The English designer adds the out-of-the-box Westwood twist with rings around the Orb creating a galactic look.
