Ever since her career took off in the ’70s with roles in The Godfather, Sleeper and her star-turning film 1977’s Annie Hall, Diane Keaton has always stuck by her signature sense of style through the decades which is still unmatched today. More times than not, you can catch Keaton wearing some form of voluminous dress or skirt situation paired with a large belt cinched at the waist, either a turtleneck or button-down with her signature tie, and of course, there’s her iconic (and meme-able) Babadook-style hat. All these years later, she’s still rocking it — and looking fabulous while doing it, we might add. On-screen, her looks have been just as chic, and championed trends like Coastal Grandmother (that even today’s style icons can’t get enough of).

The phrase, “If it’s not broken, don’t fix it” reigns absolutely true when it comes to the Academy Award winner’s style. On Wednesday, Keaton hit the red carpet for the premiere of her latest movie, “Mack & Rita,” along with fellow co-stars Elizabeth Lail, Taylour Paige, and Nicole Byer at the NeueHouse in Hollywood in quintessential Keaton fashion.

She wore a head-to-toe black look that consisted of a fitted black turtleneck and a voluminous midi skirt (which have become just as common for her as a good power suit). Keaton pulled out her trusty go-to accessories: her statement belt and one of her trademarked black hats. The only thing missing from Keaton’s look was a pile of pearls draping from her neck (another one of her regular accessories).

Mack & Rita, which hits theaters August 12, follows the story of a 30-year-old writer (Elizabeth Lail) who spends a wild weekend in Palm Springs for a bachelorette party and wakes up to find she has magically transformed into her 70-year-old self (Diane Keaton) who becomes a social media influencer.

Judging from the trailer, Keaton delivers many more fashionable must-see looks in the film, too.
