Daisy Edgar-Jones has brought her tempest of style to the Twisters press tour, stepping out in a flurry of Boho-chic looks that have had us in a Zendaya-style chokehold over the last few weeks.
If her performance in the upcoming natural disaster sequel has taught us anything, it’s that your outlook can change in a split second. But away from the burned midwestern drylands and cataclysmic turns in atmospheric pressure, Edgar-Jones is applying the mentality of her storm chaser character to her sartorial offerings on the film’s press circuit.
To do so, Edgar-Jones has relied on the new season offerings of Chloé’s “soft look” and ultra-feminine Fall/Winter 2024 collection. The first under newly appointed creative director Chemena Kamali, the runway pieces found new relevance in the 26-year-old Brit’s street style.

The Normal People leading lady added a relaxed and in situ sense to the full looks as she toted coffee cups while wearing the pieces and leant into the insouciant fluidity of the ruffled garments. Of course, as she shares a namesake with fictional 70s songstress Daisy Jones (portrayed by Riley Keough in the award-nominated limited series), it was only a matter of time before the actress embraced the free spirit silhouettes of the decade.
But that wasn’t all Edgar-Jones had on her radar. Like any good London girl, Edgar-Jones’ press wardrobe consisted of homegrown favourites, including Victoria Beckham and 16Arlington. It’s coming home, indeed.
As these fashion moments follow what is arguably her most memorable look of all time—A tornado-inspired custom Vivienne Westwood dress for the London premiere! A ’50s-style Magda Butrym suit featuring classy calf-grazing capri pants! Sabato De Sarno’s Gucci indigo denim!—keep scrolling ahead for a chronicle of her whirlwind style.

Taking cues from fellow British bohemian Sienna Miller, Edgar-Jones was seen on the Upper West Side wearing Look 36 from the collection. Her look consisted of an ethereal blue-grey sheer dress with a soft lettuce hem, billowing Stevie Nicks-inspired sleeves and a cutout at the waist. She paired the dress with tan thigh-high boots.

Later that day, Edgar-Jones offered her second Chloé look. She wore Look 40, a flirty, ruffled mini dress inspired by the salons and boudoirs of Halcyon Paris. She completed the outfit with clogs—the first member of the celebrity style set to wear these—and the new large bracelet hobo bag in grained black leather.

Completing the Chloé hat trick, Edgar-Jones stepped out in Midtown wearing a very Parisian “Masculin Féminin” silhouette of tailored cigarette trousers and lace body suit. For those curious about shopping the set, this is Look 7.

Turning her attention to another cornerstone of European style, Edgar-Jones appeared on the Today Show wearing a white column dress with peplum dealing from Sportmax. She accessorised the angelic look with a white Gucci purse.

Edgar-Jones wore a structured mini dress from Victoria Beckham for another television appearance. The taupe wool mini featured a graphic heart-shaped bodice and debuted in the former pop star’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection.

Finally, Edgar-Jones took to the Upper West Side in a drop-waist dress from 16Arlington. Coincidentally, fellow British actor Emma Corrin also wore this look while in Rio de Janeiro promoting their upcoming film Deadpool & Wolverine.

For a more laidback look, the actress opted for a cropped black cardigan and ultra-high-waisted beige trousers cinched with an oversized black belt—her trusty Gucci horsebit bag in tow, of course.

Taking a sudden turn, Edgar-Jones swapped out her tousled waves for pin-straight locks to match her 60s-mod look. Doubling down on the micro trend, she wore itty-bitty shorts and a crop top with a burgundy leather jacket and platform loafers.
