Copenhagen Fashion Week has officially kicked off, and the Danish capital is alive with an electric energy fueled by fresh street style and captivating creativity.

Despite the gray skies and rainy weather, Copenhagen came out in their best dressed on day one to kick off their fashion-fueled week right. From vibrant colors and prints to sophisticated neutral layering, the city’s fashion-forward attendees showcased a diverse array of looks that epitomize the intersection of luxury and innovation.

Day two continued the top-notch fashion we all expected, creating even more buzz around the style of Scandi fashionistas. We saw a continuation of shearling outerwear, neon colors, and dressed up denim. The streets were buzzing with trends of futuristic accessories, including metallic footwear, handbags, and eyewear.

Day three brought larger than life accessories. Not only is the oversized outwear trend continuing to take center stage, but so are extreme oversized bags, belts, and bows. We also saw the emergence of a western trends with many fashion week-goes wearing fringe detailing, in additional to cowboy hats, cowboy boots, and a varying array of neutral shades.

Day four continued with neon numbers, heavy layering, and cargo pants as large trends. We saw more menswear-inspired outfits come to the forefront, capitalizing on the tuxedo trend. With the outfitting of blazers, vests, dress shirts with unique detailing, ties, trousers, pinstripes, and suit layering, a trend-forward approach to formalwear has now hit Scandi street style scene.

The standout themes from CPHFW SS24 street style has been the daring use of bold colors and unexpected proportions. Fashion week-goers have confidently embraced eclectic layering, from oversized outerwear to unique lace base layers. Mixing and matching prints with contrasting textures, in addition to layering, provided a visually dynamic effect that exuded both confidence and a fearless approach to fashion.
