When I recently started packing for my impending overseas trip, I quickly realized that despite a career that requires lots of travel, I was no longer match-fit. Although prior to the pandemic I had international packing down to a fine art — knowing exactly what to take and nothing more — two years of being grounded in Australia seemingly all but eroded my hard-won experience.

In the end I culled as much as I could, but as I stood there in customs surrounded by the mass of makeup that I just had to tote along on a two-month trip, I knew I had made a mistake — there’s no way I’d ever really use all this, and would eventually get lazy and probably use the same three products over and over again instead.

It turns out I was right, but it wasn’t three products after all — in fact it was three-in-one, otherwise known as the new Charlotte Tilbury Quick And Easy Makeup Kit in Sunkissed ($75).

The handy kit contains three products that are each designed to be used on the go, which is obviously very ideal for travel. There’s the Easy Eye Wand in Sun-Kissed Eyes, which is seamlessly scribbled on and buffed out for a bronze cream eyeshadow, the Easy Highlighter Wand in Golden Glow to smooth over the high points of the face, and — my personal favorite — the Easy Lip & Cheek Wand in Sun-Kissed Lips/Cheeks to add warmth and color for blush and lipstick.

After just three days, along with a light foundation, brow gel and occasionally a touch of bronzer, it was all I was using. My other palettes sat in my travel case looking sad as I applied the same three cream products each day and night, employing a heavier hand at night for extra oomph. Sometimes I’d add liner and mascara to my lashes, but for the most part? This little kit was it.

This one’s for all the girlies doing their makeup on public transport! Or maybe you’re just perennially late or a bit lazy (both if you’re me). This cute new kit from @CharlotteTilburyy might be just what you needbeautyeditorrbeautyreviewwmakeuptiktokkcharlottetilburyycharlottetilburyreviewwmeccabeautyjunkiee5minutemakeuppquickmakeuplookk

The kits come in a range of different sets with multiple shades, but Sunkissed is my pick that will suit most skin tones. And the best part? They’re refillable, so I’ll never run out of my new favorites. The kits were all but sold out almost everywhere, but if you can get your hands on one (you can sign up to be notified when it’s restocked), it’s all the makeup you’ll need on your next trip — guaranteed.
